1. Experience

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role

2. Programming Skills

Proficiency in backend languages such as:

• Java

• Python

• Go

• Node.js

• PHP

• .NET

Or relevant frameworks

3. Databases

Strong experience with:

• Relational databases:

  • MySQL

  • PostgreSQL

• NoSQL databases

4. APIs & Integrations

Experience in:

• Designing and developing RESTful APIs

• Integrating with third-party services

5. Tools & Technologies

Familiarity with:

• Git

• Docker

• CI/CD pipelines

• Cloud platforms:

  • AWS

  • Azure

  • GCP (plus)

6. System Design

• Good understanding of:

  • System design principles

  • Building scalable, high-performance applications

7. Code Quality & Testing

Strong understanding of:

• Clean code principles

• Unit testing

• Debugging best practices

8. Communication & Teamwork

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in an agile, collaborative team environment
